I had Lasik 4 days ago for my nearsightedness in my right eye (-1.5). Post surgery, my distance vision is much improved. However, my close up vision is much worse. It was perfect before, and now it is notably blurry, consistently, not intermittently. Basically, the eye that received Lasik has switched from nearsighted to farsighted. My eye doesn't feel dry, and I am only 32, so this is not an expected side affect. Does this seem like something will improve as I heal, or could it be permanent?
I got the LASIK surgery 4 days ago, and I feel as if I had put my contact lenses inside out. My vision is clear (although feeling a little blurry like when you keep your contact lenses for too long). Putting eye drops doesn't really give me any relief, I keep feeling like I have sand, especially when I blink. Doctor said everything looks normal and I just need to wait. How long should I wait? I don't mind having just a dry eyes feeling, but the sandy feeling is really uncomfortable.
I had lasik surgery 4 days ago on my right eye. In the middle of the doctor working on my left eye, he stopped and said my cornea is too thin and he doesnt want to injure my eye. I noticed yesterday that around white or brightly colored lights, I have a glare thats like little bands sticking out from the light. Its worse in my left eye than it is in my right eye.
I am 4 days post LASIK. My RX was -2.75 in each eye. My right eye was left with 296 thickness and I know that is on the thinner side. My left eye is a little thicker and I can see perfectly. I have been keeping up on all post care instructions but my right eye is still blurry. Together my eyes have definitely improved, but when I cover up my left eye I realize how bad my right still is. Is this because they performed LASIK on a cornea that is too thin? I have been panicking for 4 days straight.
I had LASIK 4 days ago, at the next-day follow up a doctor said I had 2 significant creases/folds in the peripheral of my cornea. He said its not a major concern & its unlikely they need to correct unless it affects my sight. He said that it can be evaluated at my 1 week check up. Do these folds present any risk to my eye/vision? Will waiting a week have adverse consequences should they choose to fix it? If they dont fix it will it complicate any future LASIK touch ups or wearing of contacts?
I am four days post-op from bladeless wavefront lasik surgery, and am returning today after a concerned appointment I made yesterday of cloudy vision, eye redness, and pain in one eye. I was told there was debris inside the flap and they need to reopen and wash out. Is this the same as DLK (Diffuse Lamellar Keratitus)? Also, will the recovery of this procedure be similar to the recovery of my initial procedure? It was quite painful for several hours, and I want to be mentally prepared.
question 1: I had laysik surgery done 4 days ago. I was farsighted so my doctor did an over correction. I now see clear up close but after about a foot or so everything is extremely blurry... Is this normal? When will I be able to see and drive again? Question 2: Also I was upset about something and started to cry however I am unable to produce tears is this normal? I feel like my vision is worse than before
