I had a cafe au lait birthmark removed at the top of my leg more than 4 years ago. Its has left a visible border around the area. Although it has faded it is still rather noticeable. The doctor who did the procedure told me to catch the sun on it but I find This makes it show up more. Is there anything I can do to make it disappear? Many thanks
Im not sure what caused it, but they appeared a few years ago on my shin area. My legs just look.. blotchy? Or streaky? Any idea what this could be?? They dont hurt, itch, burn or anything and my skin feels perfectly smooth and normal. It looks like its just hyper pigmentation but its so ugly. I dont necessarily want any cosmetic procedures done, but is there anything I can do at home to help with this? Would a bleaching cream help?
Hello! I was wondering if someone could suggest ways to remove these brown spots that are literally covering both legs. They started after getting laser hair removal and then I tried to get rid of them with IPL and I think that actually made it much worse because they came back even more all over both legs. A dermatologist told me that fraxel might be the answer, but they weren't sure if that would work. Does anybody know which laser might help get these brown spots off my legs?
Body only please. In 40s, have dryer skin with some crepiness and sun-damage and want younger looking skin on my body (abs, legs, back and shoulders arms etc). What is best treatments to help, IPL microneedle, fraxel/CO2? Morpheus BodyTite Ulthera for tightening but what about skin surface once tightened?
I am 22 years old and have always had this huge birthmark on the side of my right leg. I cant wear certain shorts and Ive never worn a bathing suit. It has made me so insecure and self conscious. How would I be able to remove it at home or how much would it cost to professionally remove it?
I have sebbohreic keratoses all over my arms and legs. I'm 49 and in good shape. In other ways I feel I look young for my age, but the skin on my arms and legs looks more like 80. I've talked witha plastic surgeon and my dermatologist about it. They both say freezing then of individually is why they do. These are so extensive, I feel like it wouldbarely make a dent in them. I'm wondering if anyone has experience using a larger scale resurfacing approach on the extremities.
