I had 9 sessions of Alma Soprano Titanium last year for my upper lip, lower lip, and chin with sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However, there was minimal hair reduction. Four months later, I tried another diode laser (Vikini) on the same area. After 3 sessions, I noticed a reduction in my upper lip and chin, but some parts of my chin still have coarse hair, and there was no reduction on my lower lip. Should I continue? Is laser hair removal permanently reduce other parts of the body like pubic?
This is the closest shave I can get. I can never get a close shave like I see other people can in photos. I am very fair with dark coarse hair and shaving has always been a problem. This is why I want laser hair removal, but my bikini area is is never flawless and always left with these tiny hairs no matter what I do. It's still smooth and wouldn't consider it prickly. From the photo, would this be considered acceptable for laser hair removal treatment and would laser even help with this?
I'm pale and have really dark coarse underarm hair, and nothing helped removing the green shadow on that area. The green shadow is shaped exactly where I usually have my hair growth. Shaving, waxing or epilating didn't help. I'm thinking of using an at home IPL (Silk Expert Pro 5 by Braun) to get rid of the 5 o'clock shadow on my armpits, will that be effective? Also, what is the exact cause of this green type of pigmentation? Thank you for reading.
Male with course dark arm hair, I have very light skin so my hair really stands out. Can I do one treatment of laser hair removal in an effort to thin the arm hair and make some of the follicles less thick and noticeable. Will my hair grow back patchy? Specific laser light setting/or procedure that will do this effectively? I dont want to be left with patchy result and have to laser it all away, I think it would look worse than current situation. How many sessions/what strength level?
Hi, I am 30 year old male with light skin tone and a really thick coarse beard. I decided to get laser done to remove it- the place I went to used a gentle max pro laser. It was sheer torcher and after one pass I didnt think I could continue! My hands were shaking when I was done from the shock. Its sounds dramatic but I honestly dont know how I am going to bring myself to go back? Why would this be affecting me so badly when general concensous is that there should be minimal discomfort?
Hello, I have done 3 sessions of laser treatment on my underarms (intervals between sessions 35-40 days) however I still need to shave every two days, only a small amount of hair has fallen off. As laser technician told me generally laser treatment on this area is the most effective as there are coarser and darker hair on underarms. Any suggestions?
I have fair skin (between Type I and Type II on the Fitzpatrick scale) and dark black, coarse hair. I have never done laser hair removal before. I went for consultations in two separate clinics (both are certified and their specialists are well reputed for laser hair removal treatments). The first suggested Alexandrite 755 nm laser, while the second suggested LightSheer DUET. I am treating my underarms, full legs and Brazilian. Please help me. Which one is more effective in my case?
