Can I get one treatment of Laser Hair Removal in order to thin out my coarse dark hair?

you cannot "thin out" hair with high density, mine was more than yours and after 10 sessions now I have none. the devices we have now can treat arms in a few minutes. each time you do treatment the hair will be patchy till its removed, it doesnt thin or treat it evenly. please see an expert.

Hair follicles need to be removed with laser hair removal. Hair removal with lasers can turn out patchy early on. It is difficult to control evenness of the laser absorption within your hair follicles. I usually recommend patients shave their hair in these areas while undergoing laser hair removal until the majority of the hair is gone. This will make it less noticeable. Hope this helps!
