Can I get one treatment of Laser Hair Removal in order to thin out my coarse dark hair?

Question

Male with course dark arm hair, I have very light skin so my hair really stands out. Can I do one treatment of laser hair removal in an effort to thin the arm hair and make some of the follicles less thick and noticeable. Will my hair grow back patchy? Specific laser light setting/or procedure that will do this effectively? I dont want to be left with patchy result and have to laser it all away, I think it would look worse than current situation. How many sessions/what strength level?

you cannot "thin out" hair with high density, mine was more than yours and after 10 sessions now I have none. the devices we have now can treat arms in a few minutes.  each time you do treatment the hair will be patchy till its removed, it doesnt thin or treat it evenly. please see an expert.

Hair follicles need to be removed with laser hair removal.  Pigmentation can be improved with peels like Cosmelan and enlighten, vivatia foam, restorsea 10X, and reve skin acne purifying enhancer.  in the shower jan Marini glycolic scrub is best. Hair removal with lasers can turn out patchy early on. It is difficult to control evenness of the laser absorption within your hair follicles. I usually recommend patients shave their hair in these areas while undergoing laser hair removal until the majority of the hair is gone. This will make it less noticeable. Hope this helps!
