I had my second laser treatment on full legs about 8 days ago and since then Ive had severe, intense itchiness all over my legs. I called my laser clinic and they just said to apply antihistamine cream ?? Ive been applying aloe Vera, hydrocortisone, but nothing helps. Any suggestions ?
I have been having this done since 2003 and this was like my 20th plus treatment so I am not new to this procedure. The treatment felt more intense than usual but didn't think much about it until I saw the esthetician's reaction. She told me to apply alor vera gel which I have never been told before. When I saw my face I was horrified. I have tried aloe vera, hydrocortisone, Mederma. Nothing works and the scar is getting darker over time. It now looks like melasma. Please help me! Whay can I do?
Laser specialist said it looked like erythema edema. I have been using aloe and cortisone 10 on my legs since day 1. Is there anything I can do to help speed this recovery of these spots?
I went to a laser hair removal treatment on a June 23 and received 2nd degree burns from that treatment. After months of applying aloe vera and vitamin E to the wounds, I now have scarring on my stomach and bikini area. It is very unslightly and I've tried to use Mederma PM and what I was told was 8% hydroquinone cream to fade the scars with little result. I hope to confidently wear a bikini in the future, but I'm not hopeful.
I had laser hair removal yesterday on my upper lip, immediately after treatment it starting burning and the pain didn't go away for about 3 or 4 hours. I called the clinic back and they said to put aloe vera and ice. So I did and today when I woke up I have some dark spots or burns. Will they go away and how should I treat them? Should I continue to put the aloe vera?
I had my 1st laser hair removal session on my armpits, Brazilian and full legs. My legs have red bumps & very itchy. I've applied ice packs to cool it, alovera, & cortizone cream but nothing works. The only part that was infected were my legs. My dermatologist didn't know what it was, which was weird cuz even I knew that it might be (folliculitis edema). What can I do to prevent this next time? Should I stop the treatment? The itchiness is so NOT worth the suffer. I NEED UR ADVICE DOCTORS
