I had my second laser treatment on full legs about 8 days ago and since then I’ve had severe, intense itchiness all over my legs. I called my laser clinic and they just said to apply antihistamine cream ?? I’ve been applying aloe Vera, hydrocortisone, but nothing helps. Any suggestions ?
Answer: Laser Hair Removal Itchiness Itchiness is a common reaction after LHR, I recommend a low dose antihistamine prior and post LHR it helps with edema and itchiness. But if the itchiness continues, contact a Dermatologist in your area.

Answer: See a Cosmetic Dermatologist for after care--itchy/rash after laser hair removal Every so often, we do see a rash following laser hair removal. This is usually because of irritation of the hair follicles in the treated area, and this can be easily treated with a mild cortisone preparation. I suggest contacting your Dr. for a topical solution. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Intense itchiness after second laser treatment. Having itchiness after Laser Hair Removal is very common and products like hydrocortisone is a great way to help the itchiness . But what is happening is that your body is trying to push out all the dead hairs from the LHR treatment. So as simple as it sounds I find just a simple exfoliation every day in the treated area works best. This allows the hairs to push through the skin much easier revealing the itch sensation. Silkpeels which is a dermal infusion are also a great way to exfoliate the dead skin as well as having the hairs literally extracted.
