I first did a sculpsure treatment on my submental area. I saw results but wanted more. I received 2 vials of kybella about 5 days ago. I feel a tingling, bubbling sensation under my chin, almost like little bubbles popping. Its not painful, but noticeable. Is this the kybella working? Also, my swelling peaked at 18 hours then decreased but its twice the original size. Why do they recommend massage for sculpsure but discourage massage for kybella?
I had round 2 of Kybella 3 days ago. 4 vials injected. I have a hardened lump under my chin. I am tempted to rub or massage it. Will that diminish the tightening effect? I dont want to undo any hopeful results by touching it too much.
I first had Coolsculpting to treat submental fullness/under chin area, after which I had one vial of Kybella to treat a very small amount of uneven fat that remained. It's been 2 months since the Kybella treatment and I have about half inch of hard, puffy skin under my chin. The skin looks puffier than after the Coolsculpting had resolved. Can I massage or do anything to reduce this condition? Is it normal to have this result after 2 months since initial Kybella treatment?
I cant find any information regarding aftercare for celluform plus. I was told its the same as kybella just FDA approved in the UK first. I had my first treatment 3 days ago, and my aesthetician told me to massage the area in a draining motion. However the after care advice for kybella seems to be the opposite, to not massage at all. I was wondering if I should or shouldnt massage? Im quite swollen still & im paranoid about touching the area too much.
I went back to the doctor today since the pouch from the Kybella hasn't changed at all. He told me he had only seen this in 3-4 other patients and that I should massage it three times a day. If it doesn't start subsiding in 20 days he will give me a steroid shot. Have you experienced this as well with your patients? Any additional advise here? Do you also inject a steroid if it doesn't dissolve? I am thin, 43 years and had just a small pouch to begin with. Thanks so much!
So I got kybella 4 days ago and it's still quite swollen however not nearly as swollen as the first two days . I'm used to using my clarisonic massage head to massage my face neck And chest and was wondering Id be able to use it to drain the fluid faster or should I just not touch it and let it run its course ?
