Ive had redness on my face my whole whole life, more predominant on one side of face. It gets worse when I drink wine or when Im hot - assuming its rosacea but never been diagnosed. Will IPL treat it; if not what will? Also prone to blushing which makes it temporarily significantly worse.
I recently received Volbella for lip lines and experienced a vascular occlusion. It was discovered quickly, and my physician resolved the problem before there was tissue damage. The grey-blue color faded, and capillary refill was restored. However, it has been 3 weeks, and still have some inflamed-looking capillaries and other faint discoloration. My physician says we can do some IPL in 4-5 weeks to remove the redness, etc. Is it safe to have IPL 6-8 weeks after the occlusion? Should I wait?
Hi, Im looking for advice on how to get rid of the redness around my lips, mainly my top lip. Ive had this for as long as I can remember and I dont know whats caused it or how to treat it. It isnt sore or irrated in anyway. Its like normal skin, just red. I often get small pimples around my lips and Im unsure if this is related but it does make it look worse. Even when there are no pimples its still red. Im wondering if any laser treatments would help. Thanks
Hi there. I am wondering about IPl treatment for diffuse redness. Can this be done at the same time as YAG laser treatment for capillaries or should there be down time between the two procedures? If so how much down time? I have both diffuce redness and caps on my nose and face
This is my first revision w/ rib and I would like to do all I can to prevent re-absorption. I'm very happy with my result and want this to be my last nose surgery. However, I also have pre-rosacea and IPL treatments have historically kept flushing and redness at bay. My face is starting to heat up again, so I'd love to know if or when it would be safe to get a IPL for rosacea maintenance? Thankyou sooo much for any information! P.s. I will also reach out to my surgeon.
