I have an underbite, is it severe enough to require surgery? I had braces when I was 16 and had an expander as well. The results were great, but I lost my retainer after a year and my teeth have slowly relapsed (5 years). Do braces work better second time round? I have asthma and I am always congested so I think my mouth breathing contributed to that. I also have these black spots on my molars. What treatments would be best for these issues? Thanks
What would the process be to get invisalign a second time with a new dentist? I also need a gum lift :( I had invisalign for about 6 months but I moved across country and was unable to finish my invisalign treatment. I want to start over and get invisalign again, but will a new dentist work with my situation as I still have these cemented attachments??
I started Invisalign in August '12. I was told it would take 5-7 months max .. fast forward almost a year and I'm still not done. I don't care about the stretched out time but I only have 1 tray left and the results are still not great. In fact my entire bottom row looks crooked. Is it possible to start over with another doctor?
I finished my Invisalign treatment of 22 sets I've paid about 6,000 dollars. But my top teeth are still not where I want them. I told my doctor but he still made retainers I'm going in tomorrow supposed to pick them up. But I'm not happy this is not how I want my teeth too stay and I don't know what to do
I'm on my second set of invisalign trays and I have about another week until i'm supposed to switch to my third set. I lost my top retainer and was wondering if it'd be alright to hold out until I go to the dentist in a week to get my new set. I'm away at school so I have to wait until I can go home in a week to get my attachments glued on and my third retainers. Would it be better to not wear anything until next week? or should I put in my last tray?
I had invisalign for 18 months with 3 refinements. I was meant to be a simple case but there was one tooth (canine) that wouldn't budge. I was impressed at first glance but when you look closely they are far from perfect! Infact I have now have a crooked tooth (central incisor) which was caused by ill fitting invisalign. I blame part of invisalign's failure on my dentist-I suspect he was inexperienced for various reasons. I want to try again- but I'm concerned that it will not work.
I was a GREAT INVISALIGN patient for the first 10 trays, I wore them as I was supposed to and kept up wih my appointments etc. My 11th tray was very difficult to put in/out (more so than the others) and painful so I started getting less diligent. I then left the state for 2 months, and forgot my trays at home. I'm back, I wanted to get back on track but #11 doesn't fit... I can't find Tray #10 but have all my others. I'm SO EMBARRASSED to call the doctor, it's mortifying. Advise please?
