I put my tray on I realized it only covered 1/2 of my back tooth on the upper right side. The dentist said its because the impressions didn't get that tooth fully and Invisalign was fine with it because its a nonmoving tooth. My jaw feels constant pressure where that tooth is because it feels like it sits funny. Not to mention its sharp and my tongue catches on it. Am I stuck with this for my whole treatment plan?
I'm on my first tray of Invisalign and on my second night I experienced intense pain inside my left ear, pressure and deafness. The next morning there is now puss leaking out and the pressure + deafness has now moved to my right ear. This has never happened before at the same time regarding middle ear infections.
I wore tray 6 for only 13 days. I felt some more pressure with tray 7, but not too bad. I just want to make sure this will not cause any negative side effects or results. I wear my trays mostly 22 hours a day, I will have a few days where I wear them around 16 hours, but with tray 6 that only happened twice in the 13 days.
I'm a 28 years old girl. I started invisalign to correct my slightly crooked. Besides, I have too much maxillary height. My ortho said it would improve a bit but to get perfect results I should undergo surgery (and I won't). I've read that invisalign tends to intrude the posterior region due to the forces applied when wearing the trays. I wonder if I could intentionally put a constant pressure when wearing the trays that could cause more intrusion than the originally expected.
.I am in my refinement stage . I was given 5 more sets to wear which include bite ramps behind my upper four front teeth. They are comfortable but was curious if I am suppose to be biting down on them? ,Right now they act as a stopper so I am not clenching my teeth. Do I use pressure or just ignore that they are there?
