I reacted to dissolver a year ago (the test patch swelled up and had a rash on my arm. I felt sick, dizzy and had a headache then got very tired. I went to the hospital and they confirmed a reaction and gave me steroids and histamines. The practitioner hadn't checked the patch test I think because I had dissolver 2 weeks prior with no reaction. What other option is there to dissolve filler? what do people do if they need to dissolve but have a patient who reacts to the patch test?
I went to a doctor with 10 years experience in aesthetic medicine but unfortunately I got poor results. He put too much Teosyal in my lip line and I had lumps, bumps and cyst formation in my lips. I tried to dissolve it with hyaluronidase but it made things even worse as I had an allergic reaction to it and got severe swelling, Im on a day 2 of Prednisone 50 mg. Anything else I can do to fix it? Can I lance the lower bumps out or use a human derived hyaluronidase?
Allergic to hyaluronidase but badly need to dissolve filler, can I do it and put up with the reaction for a week? Is there any education I can take prior? Alternative? What are the side effects? I hate my filled face :( I've tried RF and wasted so much money but nothing changed.
I went to another injector and they said it looks like it could be an allergic reaction. They recommended I take oral antihistamine (Allegra), a topical antihistamine, and I took predisone for the last 2 days. These have done nothing though. I'm getting worried this is permanent (or surgery needed). I've had Hyaluronidase other times with no allergic reactions or problems. it did seemed like they put quite a bit of Hyaluronidase. Has anyone seen this before? Any help is appreciated.
I got my upper lip removed with hyaluronidase, ( I have been injected with ultra Juvederm) I wanted my upper lip removed because it had migrated above my upper lip and I started looking ducky. immediately I started having a bad reaction to it, my whole face swelled up and it took about four days to go down with medication. The cosmetic nurse is refusing to do my lips & said I have to go to a plastic surgeon for it. is it safe for me to get fillers or no? my top lip is so thin compared to my lower lip
I need filler removed but had a very severe allergic reaction and ended up in hospital. Obviously I can't have it again. What else will dissolve the rest of my bad filler? Can't bear to live it the migration of it above my lip. I look terrible and being made fun of. Please help. Thank you
I want to get hyaluronidase to dissolve juvederm voluma from an overfilled side of my cheek in a small area close to the nose on one side of my face, but am worried about adverse reaction. Could taking prednisone before injection help in preventing allergic reaction and/or swelling? I really want to match the overfilled side of my face with the more natural looking side rather than add filler to balance out the difference. Thanks.
