Hello, I had a hair transplant procedure (2000) around 10 months ago. I have been very happy with the hair itself and feel that part of the procedure was very successful. However, there is still some faint but persistent redness on my scalp, and the skin still feels a little tight and more sensitive than the other areas. I have very fair skin and so did expect a longer lasting reaction, but I would like to ask if anyone has any advice on how I might address this particular complaint.
Hello, I am now 8 weeks post op. I still notice some of the hairs have not shed and there is quite a bit of redness around certain grafts. Can you please advise if this is normal? I have asked my consultant but he just always seems to says its ok without any real reassurance or guidance. Thank you in advance,
I did the FUE hair transplant for 9-month. the result is totally a failure. It gives me both body and mentally attacks. I have constantly redness and inflammation. The blank is too obvious. The new hair root hole is too big compared to real hair, and can still see the surgeon hole if close up.
I'm 42 days post op and for the last couple of weeks my new hairs (or areas of incisions) have been itching a lot. They also are still red-like holes from the time the incisions were made. My doctor does not think there is an infection (although he recommended antibiotics anyways). My dermatologist suggested triamcinolone lotion, which is a steroid, for the itchiness and redness. But she said to check with the HT surgeon if this would affect the grafts. Could the application of this affect the grafts?
Hello , i was told that i could use any shampoo after 12 days post op. I put sebamed anti hairloss shampoo without massaging it and rinse my head. mmediately after that i got burning sensation on my skin and there was readness which all gone after 20-30 minutes like stated in the instructions. Fallowing days i switched to sebamed everyday wihtout any problem. i might be getting a little bit paranoid but my concern is that Sebamed Anti Hairloss shampoo could have done any harm to my grafts ?.
Hello. I had my hair transplant 27 days ago in Turkey. 4000 grafts. My donor area looks as in the photo. The skin there continues to be red. Is it normal? Also I wonder if hair will grow again so that my donor area gets a more natural look.
Please see attached photos. I hit my head on the fridge door, 23 days after hair transplant. There was no noticeable bleeding, but theres dark redness and some swelling. Have I damaged my grafts and can this bump impact hair growth long term? Thanks for any help.

I am planning to have my hair transplant surgery (strip procedure). I am trying to hide this matter from friends and family members and will rent a room for 10 days after surgery. How many days would be required to hide hair transplant signs such as scabs, swelling, redness small implanted hairs or any other odd thing so that no one notices my surgery. This would help me to plan my off days from friends and brothers/sisters. Thank you.
