I would like to ask if anyone has any advice on redness after 10 months?

Hello, I had a hair transplant procedure (2000) around 10 months ago. I have been very happy with the hair itself and feel that part of the procedure was very successful. However, there is still some faint but persistent redness on my scalp, and the skin still feels a little tight and more sensitive than the other areas. I have very fair skin and so did expect a longer lasting reaction, but I would like to ask if anyone has any advice on how I might address this particular complaint.

It is best to return to the surgeon who performed your hair transplant for an evalutation.  It is likely nothing serious, but as it is persistent it warrants a visit to your provider.

This process usually gets better with time but for whatever reason it is taking a long time in your case, probably due to your fair skin. I would be concerned with any agressive treatments which may compromise your tranplants. I would give this more time and see if it persists past 18 months and then revisit options with your surgeon or a dermatologist.

Hello, I recommend you to see your hair transplant surgeon for an evaluation. After ten months of having a hair transplant, persistent redness isn't something we usually expect, so it will be better to see your doctor for an examination..
