Hello, Ive been undergoing sessions of glycolic peel on a small but very pigmented spot on my leg, and a few on my lower back. My doctor is using a light peel and after 3 sessions, Im seeing no peeing and no results. Ive also been using Tri-Luma cream and it did little to nothing. My spot is old, about 12 years old, caused by an insect bite. Should I ask my doctor for a higher strength peel? Im paying $200 a session and am frustrated by the no results. He also doesnt communicate. Thanks.
I used 70% glycolic peel on hands and legs months ago for 10 minutes 6 months ago. There was no redness or stinging. My skin has felt strange since then. No matter what lotion I apply it seems to not penetrate the skin. What could aforementioned peel application cause? Can I remedy it? Heartfelt thanks .
I'm 39, until last year I was religiously protecting my entire body, including face against sun rays.Last year I decided to indulge in the sun, and continued this summer. I will not do it anymore as it left lots of discolored spots on my hands and legs. I was using 30 spf on my face all the time so my face is blemmish free. Can 30-70% glycolic acid peel help remove brown spots? How often should I use it?
unfortuantely , i got an extremely unbelievably rough and dull leg skin .. they are intensively dry , tick , ingrown hair prone and spots all over and some little bumps .. specially my buttock and the top of my back thights .. i want to have a chemical peel with fraction of cost , since healing such big vast of skin would cost alot .. will GA with concentration of 70% would be too much or i should get it lower ... any suggestions please ??
