Gastric Sleeve Surgery + Pain Q&A

I had a sleeve gastrectomy 2 weeks ago and I just started feeling this sharp pain 4 days ago in my abdomen on the right lower quadrant. The pain is nowhere near my incision. It is just lateral to my bellybutton. It feels like I'm being stuck by a knife or pinched really really hard. The pain is the worst when I'm sitting, when I lean up when sitting, or when I bent over to pick something up off the ground. This is excruciating pain. Is this something to worry about?

Hello i have been feeling like i have been punched in my stomach. I had gastric sleeve 3 years ago and i have lost 70 pounds from it. When i eat (all the time)sometimes even when i drink something i start getting stomach pain i would only take 4 bites and it gets like that. It feels like someone is grabbing my stomach and twisting it and using it like a punching bag. My whole back will hurt and i get hot flashes ( im 31). Im still 282 lbs and still would love to lose more so i can be 220.

I'm 6 months post-op for gastric sleeve surgery, came out with bad stomach spasms and have had stomach pain ever since. My surgeon and nurses in the office tell me to give it more time. However, I've noticed the pain has changed to stabbing sensations even when not eating. I don't appear to have a fever but have cold chills at night, and I'm very tired all the time. Is this normal this far out after surgery? Others that I have spoken with that have had this surgery don't experience what I am.

I once had the gastric balloon and was aa negative experimente due to pain and feeling constantly sick. I want to know what to expect in the postop after gastric sleeve is performed.

Sleeved 3/9/16 went from 231-169, weightloss stopped st 7 mos. 1 yr post vsg heartburn upper abdomen pain. Went back to surgeon, sleeve still looks good (barium swallow) but small pouch detected in upper right side chest cavity area. CT scan&endoscopy found a ventral hernia & bile. Dr has suggested a revision to bypass after trying meds. I have not gained any weight back 2. and could my weight loss have stopped because Any of these findings...pouch above sleeve, ventral hernia, bile reflux?

the pain started a month after my sleeve gastrectomy surgery and lasted for 14 days including today, I have pain in my stomach as if its cramping, very bad nausea and sometimes I vomit.. I also have constant diarrhea.. I was treated for helicobacter pylori before the surgery.. what could be the cause of this?

I started working out more vigorously in the last 2 weeks and i have a sharp, but not pulling or bad pain at one on my smallest incision sites. Is this from bending more?

I had the surgery done 5 days ago and I'm always weak and hungry. When can I start eating more than liquids?

Is a drain used with a Gastric Sleeve procedure and is it painful when being removed?.... Also feeling very anxious about the surgery, can they give me something to help me relax the morning of surgery?
