I had Fraxel Dual under my eyes done a week ago from a reputable skin centre and I didn't peel. Now the treated area is quite rough/sandpaper-y to touch and looks dry. I have been applying moisturiser and cleansing gently and avoiding sun at all costs. I am very scared after reading reviews of damage and orange peel skin. What is happening? Will this improve? The treated area looks not very good, I have really soft smooth skin and did this for fine lines.
I am a recent 60 year old man and would like to tighten up, reduce wrinkles and damage from an old scar but mostly get rid of all the red blotches and kertosis. I have very light skin and thin from losing weight. I have downtime now and may move soon so wanted only one treatment

Are these claims consistent with your experience? Have any of your patients come to you with such outcomes down the line? Many people say at first, their skin looks good but then after some time, they realize that the Fraxel has destroyed other barriers and caused other damages to the underlying tissues and fat. Many many people say their skin and face sagged due to fat loss, their pores became worse and many other complaints. Are there dangers here that aren't being recognized or spoken about?
I have suffered damage from the fraxel laser. This has manifested itself in the form of fat loss in the forehead and the temples. The results are random indention/depressions, fine lines and track marks. How can this be fixed? Fillers? Fat transfers? Stem Cells? PRP? Please help as this is really distressing me.
I have done 2 at home treatments with the age defying Tria laser. I recently found reviews stating that fraxel lasers can cause fat cell loss months after a treatment.!?!? And many women are stating that these treatments have ruined their faces? Can you please advise if this is a real possibility with a non ablasive Fraxel laser? I am scared I have already done damage and I won't know for months.
After a consultation, I am considering getting a Fraxel re:store and V-beam treatment for acne scarring. The reviews I've read of enlarged pores/damage post Fraxel are concerning. Why so many negative Fraxel reviews? Is Fraxel re:store the safest Fraxel treatment to start with?
I see lots of negative reviews and horror stories for this treatment while browsing here. Its supposed to be less harsh than a full blown CO2 fractional laser right? At least thats what I got from googling the 2. My mom is fair and considering it to treat some sun damage on her face. Are the issues because of inexperienced fraxel provider? Is that something that needs certification? Or are some people just better candidates? Is there anything milder to try if she decides not to do fraxel?
