I had deep plane facelift in January and swelling is getting worse instead of better, specially in my right neck. I always had swelling since day 1st in my right and some pain at night that supposed to be normal. My general doctor sent me an ultrasound to check my neck glands and the results indicates: at level 2 in the right neck there is a prominent lymph node measuring 2.8*0.7*1.6cm. This retain fatty hilum. There is not cortical thickening. What do you think about it ?
How do you avoid the lymph nodes located there when doing any type of infraorbital/subciliary incision to reach the periosteum? Also how are the midface muscles affected by an infraorbital incision? Thank you!
I had a face lift 12 years ago(!) primarily to deal with my (thanks, mom) turkey neck.. I developed a parotid tumor under my right ear on a lymph node. I wound up with some facial paralysis. Now, of course, my neck is showing drop and aging skin. Would scar tissue be an issue? This has been a nightmare for me....I would like to feel as youthful as possible.
Post-op facelift/ necklift 14 months. few days ago discomfort under left ear. By end of day whole left side swollen under the jaw line.Past 3 days bad. After surgery not happy with left side.PS said there was nothing he could because gland was low, although the right side looks and feels fine. No toothache or ear ache. Y would this happen now, what can be done.hate the way I look on the left side normally cause of the jutting out. now it is uncomfortable. Should I see primary care dr?
There's a trend in Japan called lymph node massage that supposedly reshapes your skin around the chin and jawline. Can massage actually do this? And if so, how long do the effects work
I had a facelift on oct 22, my left side is swollen below the ear. Could my lymphnodes be a factor.i'm still numb at times. How long does it take to fully heal ? Thanks Lynne
