The underside of my neck still looks fairly lopsided and squashed in after two botched SMAS AND a deep plane revision by an expert. I've also got a friend who has seen top NYC surgeon and she also has visible droopy SMG's. After seeing tons of before and afters from several surgeons, even at the highest ranks, I've never once seen the underside of a neck. Is it supposed to look lumpy and uneven? Why don't they show you this? Is this being deceptive about the realistic outcomes?
10 months ago I had a face/ necklift witch has left me with a list of problems. They removed 1,5 cm of hair on both sides and 3 cm in the back of my head. Leaving me with a odd hairline to withdrawn from my face. Loss of sideburns, bas scarring in back of my head. Around my earlobes. Pixieear. But the main problem I want to address here is my neck. They cut my platysma and both the bands on the sides. 4 bands. They soon came back after 6 weeks. Now I look like this. Horrible. What happend ?
I had submental liposculpture to help with my double chin. The first time it was lopsided. They went back to correct it and they took too much so now I have a sort of caved in look. I'm VERY self conscious about it and have begun staying in the house. This of course has lead to other issues. Help please. (I'll post photos from various angles)
Something under my soft tissue which wasn't droopy, has been lifted up causing constant pull and discomfort. soft tissue which would be good to lift towards my ear is separated from underneath and fallen down. Lower cheeks hollowed out, upper cheek looks wide horizontal and out of frame of face like I had implants. Middle of face by my nose, looks hollowed out and nose collapses as I breath. Eyes look small with deep valley between cheek and eye. Hard cheeks. How long will this last? Please help
I may require with a host of other fixes) a bilateral mid facelift and graft for sagging lower lids that persist after a botched revision by a member of ASORPS. Additionally there is now a shortage of skin on the upper and lower lids. Dr. Kenneth Steinsapir, who seems to be a outstanding in remediating the unremediable, writes that there are very few surgeons who can do this kind of work in the country and advises caution. I would appreciate knowing who those specialized surgeons are.
All cosmetic plastic surgery comes with risk, such as health complications like infection, and bad workmanship. We've all read about botched eye jobs, nose jobs, etc. Even a good plasic surgeon can, at times, do a not so good job. So wouldn't a mini face lift be less risky than a more extensive full face lift? And wouldn't a mini-lift be more likely to look more natural?
A year ago I had a botched facelift resulting in the loss of my sideburns/temporal tuft. The incisions were in my temporal hairline and it seems that almost all the hair below the incision was permanently removed when the skin was excised. I also have a wide white scar here, where the incision was closed with staples. Will I be able to have a hair transplant procedure, even though the skin there is presumably now non-hair-bearing. If so, how successful is it likely to be, and what are the risks?
