I plan on having a Revision rhino but would like to improve my eye area, let me know what eye area surgeries or implants would help my case. No Botox please I am looking for a permanent solution. With the recommended operation it would be kind to recommend a surgeon with satisfactory results. Attached is me and another image is something similar I would love to aim to achieve.
Hello! Age 28 female. All my life, I have been told I look tired. I suspect I have: - Ptosis - Scleral show - Weak eyebrow muscle on left eye As the day goes my eyebrows/eyelids start to feel very heavy, which makes it a bit hard to stay energized because I work from. What would be the best procedure(s)? Ptosis surgery? Upper blepharoplasty or eyebrow lift? Is there anything that can be done to reduce scleral show, or is best to steer away?
I have lower eyelid retraction revealing scleral show and negative canthal tilt. My primary goal is to have my lower lid raised and for my tilt to go from negative to neutral I've attached pictures which show the issue. In the first 2 pics, my eyes are relaxed and as you can see, my eyes look downturned. In pics 3 and 4, I am squinting my eyes, and my eyes look a lot better that way. I have hooded eyes, but I don't want to do anything to make them not hooded.
I've always had very dark eye circles and I also noticed that I have a bit of lower scleral show. I'm also worried that I might have protruding eyes, but I'm not entirely sure. I was wondering if I have a negative orbital vector which would cause the dark circles or if I have prominent eyes, since I can't really tell if I have either. And if I do, would infraorbital rim implants fix these problems?
I am 23 years old. I have 2mm scleral show. When someone clicks my photos, my right eye looks bigger than the left one and it looks like I'm drunk and my lips are also not symmetrical which makes me feel not so confident.
Hi, Im a 23 year old boy, I suffer from an excessive scleral show partly down to genetics (large eyes) and also due to having suffered from a bell's palsy at young age. On top of that, the lower eyelids are positioned differently causing the right eye to appear bigger and more droopy making me quite self conscious about it. Im wondering what would be the best procedure to correct this. I would prefer non surgeical options but I wouldnt mind low risk surgical procedures either
As far as I can tell, neither a canthoplasty or canthopexy are ever enough on their own to solve scleral show issues. Most surgeons seem to recommend at least canthoplasty with the addition of spacer grafts, sometimes also orbital rim implants. If this is the case, in what instance should canthopexy be used? As it seems canthoplasty is always the procedure that surgeons go for to solve eyelid retraction. Thanks!
Im interested in resolving a scleral show issue, but as I understand it, neither canthopexy nor canthoplasty solve the issue in their own. I have heard that an infraorbital rim implant is often used to support other operations. Is this an essential component? And what exactly is the full solution to scleral show? (Im 25, and Ive also heard it can be problematic in younger people to try and fix) Thanks!
I thought my scleral show was caused by only my eyelids, but it is a bone issue. I thought it was maxilla, so I looked into maxilla surgeries and I was wrong again. What type of surgery do I need and what bone is causing my scleral show? When I come in for surgery what bone should I tell my surgeon to focus on? Is it a midface and cheekbone issue, if so what is going to be happening to the midface and cheekbones?
