I had an upper lower Blepharoplasty and my left eye is smaller. My left upper eyelid is lager abs my lower eyelid comes up further on my Iris than my right eye. Ive also been told by an optometrist my left lid is all scar tissue and it grew over my tear duct. I thought I just had a recurring case of conjunctivitis. Original surgeon pretends this is not noticeable and sees nothing wrong. What should I do?
I had upper&lower bleph done 2 n half years ago. After the op I had chemosis in right eye, given drops. Eyes looked great for 1.5 years tiny minor chemosis when over tired or after party. Was put on steroid drops, did nothing to help. At Christmas (1.5 after initial op) my eye got very cross! Inflamed with fluid under conjunctiva. More steroid drops given. No better. It's been 8 months of pain and soreness. Now my eye droops. I'm doing higene, and lubricants daily. No alcohol, or going out
I know this sounds strange but I had a really bad case of conjunctivitis about 7 years ago. Ever since then in photos one of my eyes doesn't naturally open as far as the other one. Is there anything that can be done for this? How much would that cost to fix?
Im 37, and I had upper & lower (transcutaneous) bleph 2 months ago. Since then, Ive noticed conjunctival folds between the limbus and plica semilunaris when I gaze inwards towards my nose. Is this conjunctivochalasis? (Most articles Ive read specify that conjuctivochalasis occurs inferior to the limbus, but mine is more medial). Also, is this sort of thing a common result of chemosis after surgery? (I.e., Does tenons facia commonly get loosened due to prolonged edema)? Is this degenerative?
Hello, I had GPC in one of my eyes and the lid has been droopy for about 3 weeks. From what I can tell, it looks like the GPC is cleared up, I've been treating it with Pred Forte. I'm afraid my eyelid might stay like this permanently. Is this a legitimate fear? I just had upper blepharoplasty done on my eyelids less than that a year ago.
