hello, I had lower blepharoplasty 1 year ago I got ectropion. Then I had 2 revisions + canthopexy (5 months ago) and again ectropion. I feel dryness in my eye and discomfort, like I have a foreign body. Will it ever resolve - is it cicatricial ectropion or the doctor took too much skin. The strange thing is that only on one eye.
I had blepharoplasty 5 mounts ago. There is clearly visuble asymmetry between the eyes, which I would like to fix.Which method do you recommend and when?I note then i still fell the numbness of the eylids, and the scars are not visible.
Upper Bleph 5 months ago. From the start I was concerned with the inner corner of my right eye which now has an overlap. My eyelids are also red and I also have dark circles and bags under my eyes. I also had neck lift with lipo and mini lift at same time, which look's uneven. Total cost 17K. My very well know surgeon advised massage. Should I ask for revision. Or is it too soon? Thanks
I'm 5 mos post op and not only do I have extreme redness and broken capillaries, but the PS cut my right incision much higher than my eye crease, so the scar is visible and has a permanent blueish hue along the incision scar. My right eyelid also droops now and an ophthalmologist confirmed Ptosis. My PS claims he hasn't ever had an issue w broken capillaries and says my eyes weren't symmetrical prior. To that I say, true, but they both opened an I didn't have red eyelids and scars. Advice?
I had upper eyelid surgery almost 5 months ago and the incisions are still pretty obvious when I'm not wearing make-up. I have been using bio oil or vitamin e oil pretty regularly but it does not seem to be doing much.
I had a lower bleph done 8/25 and i noticed my lower eyelid is lower than it was before. I saw my doctor last week and he gave me steroid injections at the corner scar areas and told me to massage the lower lid like crazy. Will this work to get my almond shape back or am i doomed and need a retraction surgery??!! ughhhh
I had upper eyelid surgery 5 months ago and I'm not really pleased with the results. My lids are still drooping and I don't have that open eyed look I used to have that I was hoping for. I went to one of the top surgeons in my city and my mom had her eyes done by him 10 years ago and they look amazing. I feel like either he didn't take enough skin off or maybe I need a brow lift too. Am I being too unrealistic?
I had a lower bleph 5 months ago. After the procedure I had to go in and have it fixed 4 months later due to lower eye lid on one of the eyes dropping. After that was fixed it left a gap in the corner of my eye at outer corner of the eye lids and the eyeball. 2 weeks after the second procedure the Dr fixed it but I still see the gap. Will that heal?
I had a lower blepharoplasty 5 months ago for under-eye bags. The eye bags are still there and neither my husband nor I notice any difference at all. The oculoplastic surgeon told me that she only removes the fat that comes out easily. Unfortunately, very little came out easily and now she said she can only offer filler. Could there be another reason for under-eye bags? Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
5 months on upper eyelid surgery, my upper eyelids too exposed, esp. the left one that is also is stiff/hard, and also or deep crease). I keep frowning my eyes (especially left one) a few times (eyebrows up & down) to hide big upper eyelids. 1. I want to have some hooded eyes, not over-exposed eyelids. Need Fat grafting? fillers? Trim a the left lid a bit? Any surgeon to suggest? 2. My left lower eyelid has a little extra fat that might be pulling down. Agree? Need any fix? What can we do?
