I popped the blisters and I am worried that it is infected already? I dont feel pain though and it appears that my left ear is more inflamed compared to my right ear. Im also worried about the scarring that it may cause. I always clean and cover it with moisture using aloe vera gel and mebo gel every night before I sleep. It has been 3 weeks and I dont see much improvement with regards of its healing. My left ear appears to stick out more compares to the right. Please see the attached photos.
I am worried about my right ear. It is very bruised and swollen still and I have blisters on top of and behind my ear. Also there are a few stitches visible and I don't know if this is normal? My left ear has no bruisng or blisters and looks fine. Does my right ear appear to be healing ok after 6 days from the photos??
5 days post op my right ear developed a blood blister with clear liquid? My PS called it that, It was extremely uncomfortable due to wearing a headband 24/7. After 4-5 days PS and popped it, then it scabbed (which I have not seen anywhere Post op) 4 weeks out my fold is protruding and looks unnatural. My PS said its swollen but will subsided. No improvement yet only improvement are scabs fading. Other ear looks great swelling has gone down I'm worried I might need surgery again on my right ear?
I'm 4 days post surgery but since day two (after the band was removed) I noticed some leakage from the antihelix, it's really swollen and the skin has the appearance as if a blister had popped. The doctor gave me antibiotics and an antibiotic ointment to put in the suture's area which I have also spread in the infected wound according to his instructions. Still, I'm very worried that it will evolve into chondritis. How does the diagnostic look? Will the cartilage stay that big? Thank you!
Doctor had a hard time correcting left ear because it lacked tone. We eventually noticed small sore, bloody spot on the front of the ear. We started applying Neosporin nightly and it turned into a blister then hardened over next couple months. Dr thought it was stitch reaction at first, but now doesn't think that's what it is. We are happy with result but wish this bump would disappear. Thoughts on what it is and treatment options would be appreciated. Thank you
