Im almost 50 and have a very patchy beard so I used a derma roller on my face. I now have what looks like acne. Lots of red, white spots and lumps, stinging to the touch and my face is always warm. Im worried. Will this heal? What can I do?.. feeling very stupid!
I had done what was supposed to be a very light derma roller treatment on my face (0.5 needles) and now my skin texture is like orange peel skin and super uneven with bumps. If i had known this could happen I would never have had done it. To me it looks like scarring and I don't think it will change to normal again - Am I wrong? (procedure was 3 month ago)
Hi docs, 20 year old male here, a few months ago I naively started using a 0.5mm dermaroller at home on my lips after reading about it plumping on beauty blogs. The result has been awful, my vermillion border has faded, my cupids bow has lost its sharpness/height and thinned out, I have a raised scar on my procheilon, and lips lost their red pigment, having become pale pink/white. Is there anything I can do to get my lips back to how they were before, or is this damage irreversible?
Ive had nice skin with small pores most of life. No real reason to use Derma Roller but read great reviews about increasing the elasticity of skin so I wanted to give it a try. Its been 36 hours since I used the Derma Roller (size 0.25) at home and there are pinholes throughout my face. It looks like my pores are larger. Will these go away? If so, when? Is there anything I can do reduce these? Should I see a dermatologist. Please help.
I use a 1.5mm needle on forehead, glabellar lines and around my mouth and chin. My face is red and inflamed for about 2 days afterwards followed by peeling skin. Is this causing damage and not helping my wrinkles? Should I use a smaller needle size?
I rolled my face with a .25 dermaroller at home on 1/19, it wasnt aggressive. I applied hyaluronic acid serum immediately afterward. It was 3 days later when I noticed track marks all over my face, needle holes, new scars that previously werent there. My skin is dry, itchy &irritated. I can see more wrinkles & fine lines than I ever had before. I am devastated. Did I do permanent damage to my skin? Is there anything topical I can put on my skin in the meantime so it doesnt feel so dry?
I've been rolling weekly with a .5mm roller for 3 weeks. I noticed after my 3Rd time that I have pin prick marks all over my skin where I passed the roller. Is this just the micro-channels caused by the rolling or have I made my skin worse?? I'm so worried that I have caused more damage to my skin. The first session I went really lightly and have applied more pressure the last 2 sessions, but I didn't press overly hard. It'seems been an hour since I finished and the redness have mostly gone down now.
