I have been going through the steps to have a dental implant placed for one of my front teeth. My tooth has been removed and a bone graft was done about 3 months ago. Im going back to the dentist at the end of this year for my cleaning but also to check how my extraction is healing. I ended up getting pregnant during my extraction recovery time.. Ill be in my second trimester when I go in for my cleaning, but I am trying to get an idea of the odds of my final implant being placed before I'm due
Hi I'm 38, my teeth are in good condition however I broke a canine 12 years ago due to grinding. I was advised at the time to leave it but it has become painful. I'm currently undergoing root canal but my dentist is ensure he will be able to complete it as there is calcification, he applied something to try and wear this away and am due a follow up. If I lose the tooth what is the best option for replacement? And what option can be implemented while pregnant?
My husband and I are currently family planning and I have my dental implant in November. Wed like to conceive after that and push off the crown if possible. Would they place the crown if Im pregnant? Its my understanding that the crown is just screwed on. How long should I wait after my dental implant to conceive? Will the implant fail if I conceive too soon? Will it cause complications for the fetus? I just need some kind of timeline. Thank you.
Hi I had stage 1 implants and bone grafting which went well in December 2017 I was told to wait for 3-6 months for my second stage. Then I found out in January 2018 that Im pregnant. I planned to and do my second stage in June 2018 when Im on my second trimester is it safe to go ahead with the procedure.
I'm 24 and it started out when I was pregnant. I went from having a beautiful smile to not wanting to smile at all because of the appearance of my teeth. I'm the Sales Manager for a large hotel where I live and I'm really looking to get my teeth fixed. Not only is it very painful but I want to smile again. I have two Dental Insurances but I've read that a lot of insurances do not cover Dental Implants yet. And I'm not sure if I want to get dentures. but if that is my only option I will.
I am pregnant in the 24 week now. i had a implant surgery 6 months ago. My doctor said that i will have implant the theeth placed after three months since the first surgery is done. But i got pregnant and due to my pregnancy in early stage i could'nt have it done. So is it still safe to do that now? Please advise me!
I had my two implants fixed in July now I'm due to get screws and crowns fixes on them. Meanwhile I found out I'm 2 months pregnant. My dentist said it will be ok, but I would like to get second opinion as I am still worried. Thank you
