Can I continue with my implants while I'm pregnant?

Restoring implants requires a few steps and most are extremely safe while pregnant, such as an impression or even a small amount of anesthetic that may be needed if the gums need to be moved or cut. But the surgeon and the restoring dentist will most likely need to take x-rays. X-rays are often used on pregnant women when they are NEEDED but restoring dental implants is a procedure than can wait until you deliver. There is no rush and the implants will be fine to restore 8 months later. I would recommend you wait. And congratulations.

Impressions for dental implants should require no anesthesia and is usually a simple appointment .   I am sure it will be fine if you want to be on the cautious side. Then wait until you are in your second tri-mester , though I do not believe it is necessary .

Best to always check with your OByn for their approval.  Most of the time they prefer any dentistry to be done in the second trimester.

I would wait 2 more months. Especially if they are going to use local anesthesia. There is no rush at this point.
