I had dental implants put in about 6 months ago. I had all of my teeth pulled and received dentures on the top and got 2 dental implants on the bottom. Can I use denture adhesive safely, while waiting for my dentures to be clipped in? These are also my temporary dentures.
I have an implant that had been in for a couple of years, no crown on it yet, I have been wearing a temporary denture and using adhesive. Should I stop putting the adhesive over the implant area? I just woke up and the screw was in my mouth, i screwed it back in.
I spent a lot of money at my dentist (who is considered one of the best in this field) to renew and fasten my three snapins that hold my lower denture. The snaps wear out within a week and the denture comes off when I bite into food or drink something, just like before I paid all that money! Is there something I can do to fix it myself? If I use a dental adhesive cream instead on the implants and the denture, will that cause harm to anything?
just wondering if i would be a good candidate for dental implants after having full set of dentures for so long. My dentures don't fit well and the adhesives don't hold them in good. i gag with them a lot too. i have tried to get another set made but that set was worse. i can't even wear them at all. so that was a couple grand down the drain.
I've had this crown installed one month, and it's already come out twice. Both times, it detached while rinsing after brushing. I use a Sonicare, so little pressure is involved. No impacts or biting down on food there either. Should I insist on a stronger adhesive, or is this going to be a repeated annoyance I just have to live with? I don't want to end up needing monthly visits to have my crown reattached. After all the time and expense involved, that just seems unreasonable. Thoughts?
