Last week I went to my dentist to address the tightness in my jaws. I told him that my bite feels low and I can only feel my left back teeth touch (where I had crown placed) when I clench hard. Dentist did a ink bite test and showed me that all my teeth were touching and made me feel as if I was wasting his time with my concern. Im having headaches and it hurts my jaws to put my teeth together. Everything feels off and my jaws are constantly tight. He said I just need to give it time to adjust.
5 days ago I had a crown on my lower left first molar. The whole procedure took bout two hours. No temp crown. Late that day my tooth was throbbing but I assumed it was normal, however now, five days later Im still having throbbing, sensitive to heat, sore when I chew (especially crunchy) and was feels like tension headaches that seem worse at night. Ive never had a headache problem before. Will this go away or o I need to go back? The headaches are getting unbearable. Thank you.
I had a second full upper bridge installed. The dentist had to wing it since my original impressions are gone. Now I have headaches every day, all day for 4 months. I've been back to the dentist and he keeps tweaking but we cannot seem to locate the discrepancy in the bite. Is there another type do for that would be able to clearly see what may be wrong? A dental imaging or something? Need your advice please
Tooth with crown (I've had the crown over a year) is throbbing and has caused my cheek on that side to swell. I can feel it messing with my sinuses and has caused me a splitting headache. I have had this happen once before and went to my dentist who did the crown (no root canal done) and he filed the crown down and did not seemed concerned that it was swelling my face. Swelling went down a few days later, but it is back once again even worse. Could the tooth under the crown be infected?
I can't close the mouth as usual. Only the crowned tooth will hit the bottom jaw. None other will. Can't chew or grind from the opposite side as the jaws font align. This is giving me a jaw pain and a headache. Still the dentist says bite ok and I need to get used to the new tooth and then it will be ok. How is the bite ok if I can't even bite from the opposite side now. Thanks
Three weeks ago I had multiple crowns and Veneers installed on the front, top eight teeth. Since then I've been experiencing headaches and jaw pain nearly daily. Neck pain as well. Could the crowns be causing this? Kind of feels like my right side hots before my left when I slowly bite down.
Went to the dentist and he is insisting that the crown on my bottom molar is risen and that he can try to push it down and readjust it but that because there is not enough porcelain it won't look or feel good afterwards. He says the metal will rise above the porcelain. He is looking to replace the entire crown and he says that's the reason the upper moler is causing me so much pain because the crown keeps hitting into it. Can this be true the bill is quite expensive!
