Got a new crown on molar less than a week ago, it is very thick on the cheek side. Everything was fine with the temporary, the headaches and ear pressure and sensitivity began after cemented.

Answer: Thick Crown Problems A crown or filling that is to thick or high in occlusion (bite) can cause tooth pain, sensivity, jaw and muscle pain, earaches and headaches. You should return to your dentist and discuss this with them, hopefully the crown can be adjusted down without ruining the shading of the crown or exposing the underlying metal or zirconia substructure.
