Can scar wrinkling be resolved with a laser treatment? Seems like my scarred skin is papery thin and it wrinkles when I crease my skin a little. So I would like to know if numerous treatments with CO2 will resolve this particular aspect of the scar being thin, kind of transparent and making creases when I push it a little. Will my scar resemble and blend with regular skin? Thank you
Hello dear dictors Does Co2 laser (fractional /ablative) makes the skin thinner ? And is it only temporarily thinner during the healing phase? Because I thought the co2 laser treatment makes the skin thicker as it stimulates new collagen synthesis. The co2 laser device was Co2re by candela /on fusion mode /for whole face abd eyelids 4 months ago for a white female (30 yrs).
Not sure if this qualifies as bags, but under my eyes they're puffy and the skin feels thin and loose. It's worse when I'm smiling, as pictured. My eyes are big, and while it has been this way I notice it's worse as I get older (I'll be 30 soon). Aside from under-eye filler, what else can correct this or improve it? CO2 laser? Not sure if I want to constantly get threads.
Im getting married and my derm suggested doing fractional Co2 to get rid of some wrinkles I have and some acne scars, but Im terrified. Im afraid with my delicate skin it could make me look more wrinkled and older or worse. I did halo about 2 months ago and tolerated that just fine, but Im terrified of looking worse for my upcoming wedding.
How is it that thousands of doctors say you can not thin the skin on your nose yet you can get lasers such as CO2 that does exactly this. Why are so many Doctors uneducated regarding this subject?
I'm 31 years old and I have large pores and acne scarring. I was thinking about getting traditional CO2 resurfacing because it seems to be the strongest and I have some scarring that hasn't responded to microneedling. I've heard CO2 thins the skin and I was wondering if this is permanent or if the skin heal? I already have thin skin and don't want to make it worse. Thank you!
Dear RS Doctors, I have heard here and there (including from doctors) that they're not inclided to used the fractional CO2 laser on skin between 30 and 40 years old, because it 'thins the skin' (or at least after several repeated sessions). I guess my question is a) Does it really, and is there any scientific evidence of this, and b) If it is something that happens only on repeated treatment, what is the upper limit of CO2 sessions one should have? Thanks.
