I just did a co2re on the first of December. I kept aquaphor on my face the whole time. I just now finished the scabbing and flakey process. My face is slightly pink but going away as well. My face looks the same but feels tighter. My skin still look like crepes skin. Does this mean it did not work? My scars look the same and at times look worse! How is this possibLe
Had CO2 laser on Monday (face). On Sunday I assisted the scaliness (due to two events to attend and no peeling) with slight brushing using a dry razor, and some scaby particles came off. The minute scabs were still there just the top scaly layer got off and the areas smoothed out to apply makeup. No cuts, no bleeding, only less scabbiness. Want to know if what I did was okay and won't create any trouble in betterment of skin? Been following prescribed ointment, moisturizer and sunblock routine.
Hi, I got CO2 laser done yesterday. My physician said I would only need one treatment and she gave a cream and an ointment to put on the area that has been treated by CO2 laser to get rid of beauty spots and a chickenpox scar on my nose. However, Im a bit sceptical as Im not sure if my mole and chickenpox scar would vanish. Will it come off with the scabbing? Also, Im completely avoiding sun.. is there still a chance of hyperpigmentation as I have asian skin tone. I havent seen the area.
I find some articles that it's best not to let scab to form. I tend to get scars if there're scabs formed though the scabs would fall off naturally which normally happen during shower time. Should I apply Vaseline straight after 3 days post CO2 laser? or the antibiotic cream? I am prescribed Mupicor Ointment with 2% Mupirocin. Should I cover the wound until it's completely healed? & if there's any scab formed, until the scab falls off? The CO2 laser is for flat nevus removal.
i wish i could put a photo up i had co2 laser resurfacing 5 days ago. i was told to wash my face with distelled water and a little vingar then cover face with crisco or olive oil. my face is still extremely swollen and some scabs have started to appear any help as to how i can take care of my face would be greatly appreciatred thank sincerely erin
I had a laser treatment on a small capillary near my mouth - immediately after the treatment, my doctor showed me my skin, and it was clear. Later that day, the spot appeared red. Fast forward 4 days, a small scab/flakey bit of skin came off when I was washing my face. Now the capillary spot appears red again. It looks almost like it has not been treated.. will it heal over time? Or does this indicate I need more sessions?
My family has heavy premature wrinkles. The doctor said maximum CO2 treatment would improve mine. I spent $3,000 that I cannot afford. Swollen, weepy wounds, hours of follow up treatment followed by scabs and redness kept me inside for a month. Eight months later: no improvement at all. F/ups have perfect-skinned women selling expensive products, pushing Botox, etc. I thought this was a medical procedure, not a sales job. Very disappointed, I asked for a refund.
I am 6 weeks post co2 laser and I'm very red with hyperpigmentation. I also have lots of breakouts, big pimples.I've been advised to use hydroquinone and retina a but I'm really afraid to put anything on my skin. And I feel like I have even more lines. He said he went deep but I never peeled or scabbed. I used aquaphor for 2 weeks per the doctor.
