My lower lip does not protrude as far out as my upper lip does, my mouth corners are downturned, and the area between my mental crease and lower lip is hollow. I am wondering if this is a bone structure issue or if it is just collapsed skin under my mouth. A cosmetic dermatologist told me I just need some filler in the labiomental crease and oral commissures but Id like a second opinion before proceeding
Im really insecure abt the mental crease but Im unsure if a straight line would make it better bc that would make my recessed jaw more visible probably and would make my face seem longer but Im not an expert so I would greatly appreciate actual help :)
They make indents/creases on the sides of my chin too. I'm not sure if these can be considered perioral mounds, weird buccal fat pads, recessive chin, or something else I've never heard of. I'm only 20, female, so I am interested in doing fillers first for this area. I'm planning on getting chin lipo in a few months but want to tackle this issue first. It makes me look like I have 4 chins and I still had it when I lost 40 pounds. When I smile/ talk my chin turns into 3-4 chins and I hate it.
I have had chin filler and mentalis crease filler a few months ago, this affected my smile on my bottom lip by retracting the lip up and inward. Have had the filler dissolved 3 weeks ago and the side affect is still the same. Is this potential nerve damage?
I have had a deep plane facelift 10 or more yrs ago. There was a small incision under my chin but the crease is located on front of this. I didnt have the crease until after the facelift. I do not want another big surgery.
I am currently 19 and I have had this deep crease in my chin as long as I can remember It makes me supper unhappy. I plan to go to a consultation but I wouldn't even know where to start with what procedures or injections could fix this.
