I have a very deep mental crease that I really can’t stand I went to see if an implant would work the surgeon said he didn’t recommend it. I got botox and fillers about 7 months ago and it did almost nothing.

I have been using robust HA lifting fillers for years for elevating and smoothing the mental crease region, and the results of appropriate treatment are typically immediate and gratifying. The lack of success here may be due to an inexperienced injector and/or the use of an inappropriate filler for the job or too little of an appropriate one injected. So, before jumping to expensive surgical implants and post-treatment downtime, it would be wise to make sure that you are consulting with an experienced, board certified, cosmetic dermatologist. Dermal fillers should certainly be able to reduce the crease you have. They likely will need to be placed more superficially and not on bone as is typical for chin fillers. You may also just need more volume of filler to get the result you want. I hope this helps.
