Mental crease/chin filler affecting smile - is this potential nerve damage? (photos)

I have had chin filler and mentalis crease filler a few months ago, this affected my smile on my bottom lip by retracting the lip up and inward. Have had the filler dissolved 3 weeks ago and the side affect is still the same. Is this potential nerve damage?

Good question. The nerve that innervates the lower lip is not in the region of injection. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that there is a motor nerve dysfunction from the injection itself. Rather, it seems as though the regional effect of the filler is causing distortion of the lower lip to turn in on itself. Repeat enzyme injection may be needed to help correct the lower lip inversion.
