My main issue, and area my age shows is the smile lines and my thinning upper lip. I feel lucky at 49 1/2 my skin is relatively wrinkle free. My main issue, and area my age shows however is the smile lines & my thinning upper lip. I am a big fan of chemical peels. I know filler is best for smile lines but I heard, albeit rarely, you can go blind if injected wrong. I would prefer a peel or laser for my mouth area. Would it help? I think woman in 40s are at their most beautiful, so Im not looking for a drastic change, but want it to be worth the time and $.
My under eyes and smiles lines are my biggest problem , see pic. Please help me do the right procedure that will benefit me the most. Thread lift? Peel? Filler? Thx do much , I want to look as youthful as possible
Hi doctors, I want to know what kind of chemical peel would you recommend for me? I'm 23, My skin is oily..I have fine linessmile lines I would like to get rid of and blackheads. I don't have acne now, but I'm acne prone with some hyperpigmentation. I've never had a chemical peel before, btw. Thank you !
Hello. Last July I was using tea tree oil on my face and I noticed it removed the smile lines that my makeup always sunk into so I continued using it more in that area. Eventually the skin in that area flaked off then a week later it was BLACK. I recently got a chemical peel and it seems the spots got darker. Im using tretinoin for the hyperpigmentation which is kind of helping but Im just scared and annoyed at myself that this may be permanent.
I had a chemical peel done underneath my eyes yesterday for thinning skin and smile lines. My under eye skin this morning looks red and a bit puffy. I noticed that when I smile, I have twice the lines as before I had the peel! Now I'm worried that the peel did more harm than good. Is this normal to have more wrinkling after a peel and will they smooth out?
