6 months ago I got buccal fat removal. The surgeon said that cheek lipo would help to remove my jowls and smooth out the jawline with the buccal fat removal. So, he sucked two syringes of fat out of my cheeks. Now I have big dents on my face, and the skin on my lower jaw is loose. I have googled, and there are mixed opinions about whether this is fixable. I'm devastated. Surgeon says the way to fix it is a neck lift that involves removing part of the salivary glands. What do I do?
Is it theoretically possible for BFR to cause changes to the eyelid. Im 20 yrs old & noticed my eyelid skin does this weird folding when I blink Or make facial expressions , almost like there is more loose skin. Never had this issue before. Is there any possibility BFR can cause this? What caused looser upper eyelid skin?
I'm 29 & I've had chubby cheeks my whole life. In my early 20s, I put on weight then I lost about 50 lbs. After the weight loss, I'm left w/ chubby cheeks that are now uneven and lax skin on my cheeks. I've thought about buccal fat removal surgery for years but now w/ my loose skin and asymmetry, it doesn't seem like buccal fat removal alone will address all 3 issues. Would a mini facelift + buccal fat removal be appropriate to? Goal: contoured cheekbones, pronounced apples, tight skin, symmetry.
I have recently booked to go for both buccal fat and chin lipo, and thinking back to my consultation I dont know if its the right option and maybe the doctor was humouring me because I was really unhappy with my face. I have what I think as chip munk cheeks, so yeah I would say I was a good candidate or is because of the way I sleep and its loose skin? would I be better with FaceTite or something else? The overall look I would like is a more obvious jawline and less puffiness. Please help
Is buccal fat removal worth it? Is it going to create loose skin and sag where the fat is taken out? Is it going to make me look gaunt in 20 years? Or is something else like cheek filler or tightening a better way to do it. I'm a mid 30s female looking to improve facial contour, get more of an egg shape. Would also like more sculpted and prominent cheekbones. Thanks!
6 months ago I had Buccal fat removal to get a more chiseled jawline. I'm relatively satisfied with the results. There is a big downside though: I feel that i have lost some angle to my mandible and the worst is the skin going loose especially in the neck and around my jaw. I have put some pictures to show how I can pull on it. ld like to know the solutions that exist. I also would like to reduce the fat I have in the upper cheek (I have marked the zone with red circles on the pictures)
Ihave this lump next to my mouth & it protrudes and moves when I talk. I don't know what this fat in this area is called so I put my question under buccal fat removal. As you can see, when I smile just a little (without showing my teeth), my skin looks saggy there too. The skin on that side of my face is actually looser, I think perhaps because I've always slept on that side. What can I do to remove this? I'm worried fat removal will leave my skin more saggy. I'm only 27
