How long do you have to wait before you can increase sodium intake after getting buccal fat pad removal? I have a cruise coming up April 7th and I want to be able to eat normal food without sodium swelling up my face. My face was going down then I ate sodium and then it kinda swole up after eating sodium... my dr said to only eat no more than 150 mg every meal.... I'm in week 2 now almost! I got the procedure done March 8th 2019
I got mine removed 2 weeks ago and the removed fat pads I saw were really small that I wonder if it was enough amount of buccal fat removed. Could my fat pads be specifically smaller, or everyone has the same size of buccal fat pad? Thanks a lot.
My surgeon struggled to find buccal fat in my right cheek. He had to dissect more and even my cheek was pulled a lot. Now after 10 days lots of swelling has gone but I can feel a lump in right cheek. My upper lip is not functioning well and looks very strange. My surgeon says it will go in 6 weeks, please tell me is it curable or is it permanent?
My cheek bones are starting to looking contoured which I love. Some days it looks way smaller and some days the swelling comes back. Is this normal for the swelling to be up and down? Also cheek dimples have started to form. Theyre there basically but you cant see them as much because of the swelling. Ive never had dimples I love dimples but I just would like and opinion as to how they formed and also some help with the swelling.
I got my buccal fat pad done 2 weeks ago & my right cheek is very slim almost no swelling, but my left cheek is still very swollen & it has a hard lump, I was told to massage the lump to make it go away, will the lump go away? Im afraid its scar tissue & my face will stay like this
I'm a bit concerned...not so much about the swelling, which I still have, especially on my right side, but more for: 1. some tooth pain (I'd say the upper right molar root); 2.when I move my mouth and nose I feel like I cannot move the right side of the nose very well. My doctor says that the swelling caused a temporary compression of the nerve so that's why I cannot move my right side of the nose. He says it's temporary. I think I need you doctors to confirm...please
