One year ago I had a coronal brow lift. There is a constant feeling that I am wearing a very tight headband. The doctor said it was nerve damage & would go away w/ time, up to a year. Unfortunately I still feel the tightness all the time. Little stitches protrude from my scalp along the scar. And in these photos you can see some skin flaps which feel really weird. My confidence in this doctor has depreciated entirely. He never took any photos prior to surgery so I have no comparison either.
I had a temporal browlift 6 month ago. There was a lot of bleeding during the procedure especially on the right brow. Now 6 month later, I can see that my outer brow on the right side isnt lifting like the rest of the brow. So the middle of the brow is lifting fine, but the outer brow looks odd which gives me a sad appearance. Can it be nerve damage or what is it?
I had a craniotomy in Oct 2019 for removal of a benign meningioma. Immediately post op I was unable to raise my right eyebrow. The nerve was cut. Will Medicare cover a brow lift to fix it? Also will both eyebrows be done?
I did my research, went with an experienced surgeon and was aware of the risks. I have sadly noticed no improvement in brow movement since the surgery. I have min movement in one/nothing in the other - the temple area is also numb. My swelling was not severe. I understand this is nerve damage. I'm not panicking (yet) and can be patient but would like some honest opinions on when I should start to worry about seeing no movement at all? Thank you.
I also have painful migraines, greasy scalp and weird odor. I would like some advice on an endoscopic brow lift and removal of endotine devices. I have severe inflammation as my head is throbbing with painful migraines. I noticed that post eating or even making any facial movements my scalp starts to secrete oil and becomes really greasy and there is a very sporadic odd odor. Are my nerves damaged? I have not been feeling well post brow lift and removal of endotine devices.
My surgeon doesn't want to remove the hematoma. I'm afraid it will cause permanent nerve damage due to nerve compression/pressure. The operation has been done 1 month ago. The hematoma is the size of a sprout. Should i ask for a second opinion or am i worrying too much?
Dr. opened my forehead, did not do the lift. He told me he severed 2 nerves. It has now been 8 months, I have sores all over my scalp, had to shave my head to apply topical meds, and am on Neurontin, 300 my 3 times per day. Would laser treatments help? What about steroid injections into the scalp. I am getting suicidal. This is going to last for the rest of my life. It is getting worse, not better.
I now have only one eyebrow that moves the left one is frozen and weakness to the top lip and side of the nose on the right side , realistically how long will it take for movement to return ? My surgeon assures me it will return .
