Breast Reduction + Itching Q&A

I had a Breast reduction in May 2016 at the time of my surgery I had both of my nipples pierced shortly after surgery I had to remove my right piercing due to severe itching. It has gotten much better but is still itchy & if I squeeze or scratch a white cheese like discharge comes out. When I squeeze it out it gets itchier & my nip gets super dry. What is happening? How do I fix this?

Hello there, i had a breast reduction November 2017. Ive had this before and It went away by itself but this time i tried everything, it itches a lot I feel like its getting worst everyday I dont what to do. Any suggestions?

I have been using aquaphor and covered with gauze. Not sure if I could use antifungal? Didnt know what else to use?

I heard a rumor that Pepcid works well for post-surgical itch. I also heard people like to use Benadryl for this. I wanted to know if you can take these both together without an adverse reaction.

I had a BR 10 days ago. Healing seems to be well except underneath my breasts and around my nipples the stitches are itching. I still have stitches so im concerned about what i can put on/around them. My nipples are also extremely sensitive as well as itchy. What can i use?

I am 4 weeks post op from breast reduction surgery. Week 1 was just stitches, week 2 liquid bandaid and steri strips, week 3 Bio Oil... The recommended Bio Oil caused issues, after 5 days I started itching, getting red, I could see pockets of fluid forming under my skin. I started having sores open up, and I've been dealing with the ever since. I am allergic to the Bio Oil it has the same ingredients as Baby Oil (mineral oil). So what can I use or should I wait till the wounds heal?

I am 5 days post-op, following my lipo/lift BR. Yesterday, I started having a reaction to the adhesive used in conjunction with the steristrips. My nurse advised to remove the steristrips, wash the area thoroughly, apply hydrocortisone cream and take an antihistamine. Did all that, but I'm also experiencing itching throughout the whole breast and can only describe it as being internal. There's no new irritation, so is this itching a side effect from the lipo? If so, how long does this last?
