I had what looked like an allergic reaction to Tylenol 2 days post op. My surgeon said to switch to Ibuprofen. I know that's not usually ok because of the blood thinning effects. But, I had no other choice. I'm 4 days out. I stay at 400 mg, 3X a day. This is the max recommended on the bottle. I haven't been in very bad pain, but I don't want to be (obviously). Should I push through when I start to get sore and try to lessen how much I take or is it ok to keep taking that amount? Thanks.
No wound issues. My problem is that I have been taking 600 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours. I have not taken a single narcotic since the surgery. If my ibuprofen wears off, I feel horrible! My breasts are more swollen/tender and I ache all over my upper body. I also feel fatigued and mildly nauseated. No fever Is this normal at one week post op? I'm concerned that maybe I am anemic from the procedure. My hemoglobin was 12.9 pre-op and was not tested afterwards. I had 5.25 pounds removed.
After having a revision on the side flap bra strap fat that was done during my breast reduction five months ago due to puckering of skin, a chunk more skin removed and then stitched up, dr. said to take ibuprofen for pain, that pain would not be bad, I am hurting and throbbing pain makes me want to cry the day after. Is this kind of pain normal? Ibuprofen does nothing to help.

Hi, I'm 4'11 and 19 years old. I'm a 34DD and I have extreme back pain, its impossible to even get through a full day of work and class without tylenol and ibuprofen on my side. I weigh 112 lbs; I'm quite petite but with very large breasts. Is it possible that if my surgery were covered by insurance that I can go down to a size as small as 34B?
Had to get a stitch removed from my breast right on my nipple because it was growing out of my skin and then it looks like it went into my skin and filled w blood. My doc removed the stitch and he went all the way into the hole. The pain killed me. Now that it's removed my breast is still killing me. I have been using neosporin per doctor's orders. Included is a before pic w the stitch How long will my breast hurt. It is killing me. Taking 800 mg ibuprofen. Help :-(
