I'm 3.5 weeks post op, I went to my follow up 4 days ago and mentioned to my PS about bruising in my right breast and he says that's normal . My left one seems to be healing normally but there is bruising on my right breast that I'm concerned about and it is also hard when I touch it which I didn't realize it was hard until today.
Is it fat necrosis? I am a little over 2 weeks post op breast reduction. I have hardness (it feels like thick tissue or one long lump) all along the bottom of my breasts, close to where the underwire of a bra would be. It is under the anchor incision but also extends beyond it. Im scared its fat necrosis. Can this be a normal part of healing? Everything looks normal from the outside.
Yay! My right boob is completely doing well but my left is bruised much more and harder. Yesterday my left nipple looked a little darker-could this be from me trying to massage my bruises and hardness and it moved around? I also may have had a bandage on too tight. I dont want to lose blood flow so how do I ensure good flow and could I just have a bruise or some blood behind my nipple? Thx for the help
Got a breast reduction on June 9, 2017. healing process was not ideal and did have to go thru a scar revision surgery on my left breast in December 2027, due to a reaction with the stitches and my skin rejecting multiple types of stitches, which caused my incision to separate and open back up. now that the wound has closed, ive noticed large lumps in my left breast and some in my right now as well- passed it off as scar tissue but theres pain upon touch in the left.
I was once a 44 DD as of January 14, i had a reduction. I dont know what size iam at this time due to my surgeon given me a run around. 2 weeks after my surgery i notice my right areola was healing, but my left areola started looking funny. It was all crumb up and it just wasnt right. It was swollen very bad and there where some hardness, my surgeon said to me that happens sometimes. He cut a chunk out of my nipple saying for faster healing. Somebody help me. What to do?
I had breast reduction surgery 3 weeks ago and my left area around the nipple has healed very slow. My doctor prescribed Lidocaine every couple hours . Apparently the blood circulation is poor in that area. My breast is very hard (rock) in several places in that breast , it almost feels like I need to nurse a baby for relief.
I went to do my breast reduction surgery almost 3 weeks ago it seems like my swelling has gone down quite a bit but now I feel hardness at the long line underneth my nipple on both sides. Should I be worried about fat necrocess
I had a breast reduction 2 weeks ago and I have what seems to be a very hard spot right above my incisions on both sides of the breast. They aren't any funny color or bruised and they don't hurt but when I put my arms down I am aware of it. Is this normal. My Surgeons nurse said that this is normal cause I had liposuction as well. I am just not understanding why this is coming up 2 weeks later. Help please??
