I am a 38H and would like to be a 38C but wondered how I go about making sure I correctly communicate that with my surgeon to avoid disappointment after the procedure. I met with her once but it was rushed and she just asked what size I wanted , said wow then moved on. It felt awkward. Is there a chance I will awake from surgery and be too small? If that happens what do I do?
I am a 32H. I would like to be a 32C/B. I am 5'8 and 145 pounds.I am a new mom so I just lost a lot of weight and I just stopped nursing. I went to one surgeon consultation and the MD said the smallest my breast could be is a 32D. Problem: my insurance will cover a breast reduction but not a breast lift and I would NOT be happy as a 32D. Before I spend a lot of time doing to in-person consults, I want to know what the online community thinks?
Im about 52 and 130 lbs, and I have a 34H chest that Im looking to size down to a C or D cup. Ive had chronic back, shoulder, neck, and chest pain for years, and physical therapy hasnt been much help. Theres also bruising and rashes that have been under my chest for a while now. Im not totally sure if my insurance will cover a reduction, and Id like to know how to get them to cover it.
I am currently a 36 H cup and I am worried that going to a c cup is going to leave me flat chested. I have a surgery date for next month and my surgeon said a C cup would look nice on me, but I am scared that I will left with nothing. Maybe I am crazy lol
Hello! I am currently four days post op and went from a 34H to a 34C (hopefully after swelling). I am healing (painwise) very nicely and alternate prescribed anti-inflammatories every three hours. I have noticed, though, that the area under my arm/on my side is hard/stiff and sore when touched (I also put ice on them). They seem to be enlarged as well, as if my breasts extends to my side. Is this normal/swelling that will go down with time, or should I see my surgeon?
My breast appears too small after Breast Reduction. I was a 36H before my breast reduction and it appears that my breast are size 36c. I'm 10 days post-op. I told the surgery I did not want small breast. I just wanted 2 fibroadenoma removed from my left breast in the outer quadrant and more so a lift. In addition, the incision scars are very high on the chest. Is it possible to have breast size increase during revision with fat transfers? I do not want implants.
Hi there! I am curious about getting a breast reduction. I am at a 38H and would love to go down to a C if possible. I was hoping to get it done this summer (because of school, work, etc). Just curious if they would do the surgery if I have a 38 band. Would they make me lose weight first? If so I will try but I am just worried that having to lose weight will push back my time frame and I won't be able to do my surgery this summer. Any experience? 5'3'', 25 years old, 230lbs, 38H
I got my breast reduction in December of 2014, I went from an H cup to a C/D cup. I had no complications with the surgery and my scars are no longer pink and are healing very well. Would it be okay to get my nipples pierced? I don't have any sensitivity in either of them anymore and I'm hoping that it would change that.
I just had a breast reduction (from a h to a c) four days ago. I went for an Appointment today and he took the drains out and the bandages off and told me I can take a shower in a few days. I asked if I needed to wear a surgical bra or a sports bra and he said no. They need to soften up. I feel really uncomfortable and was in a lot of pain all the way home. Is this a Normal practice for plastic surgeons? Everything I've read online it says that that wear a surgical bra right out of the hospital.
I had an appointment with my PS but he had to cancel. I clean it twice a day with soap and water and cover with aquaphor and a nonstick dressing. I am 12 weeks post op breast reduction, H to a small C
