I had my reduction at the end of June, and I still have dissolvable stitches which haven't dissolved yet and I have lumps along my scar lines because of that. My right boob has been hurting a bit and I just popped what looked like a pimple & a lot of pus & blood came out. I live 900kms from my surgeon so can't pop in to see him. Are these pimples/blisters normal??
Hi, I am a 30 year old women and its has been 3 1/2 months since I had a breast reduction. While I am so very happy with my results and healing journey which I understanding is still in the process. I do have some undesirable extra skin gathered between my chest. Is there anything that can be done to remove or minimise this without creating a larger scar?
I had a breast reduction going from a 34 double H to a 34 double-D approximately 3 months ago. I have all of a sudden developed a spot along the scar line around my left nipple. Previously on my right breast I had a dark pink spot that seemed soft and then turned into a scab which has mostly healed. I'm not sure if this is the same thing, as this look darker and similar to a blood blister. Is this common? Could the nipple be dying? Thought I was finally in the clear!
I am about 3 1/2 months post-breast reduction, and I have found that the crease underneath my breast now extends rather far onto the side of my ribs towards my armpit, noticeably farther than it did before my surgery. I can't wear backless clothing because this crease now appears visible and makes me look rather dumpy and my breasts appear saggy from the side under clothing, which they don't appear saggy from the front. Could this just be some persistent swelling? How can it be fixed?
I received a breast reduction Jan 14, 2016, anchor style. My wounds closed up nicely about 2 weeks after my procedure. I am now 3 monts post-op. The scar underneath my left breast seems to be getting wider with a little discomfort. I have been applying Maderma for about 2 months now. I'm back to wearing my surgical bra, because I'm concerned that this could've been caused by my sports bras. I have an appt w/ my surgeon in 2 weeks. May I please get some advice?
I had a breast reduction/lift 3 months ago. I was a US 30G & had 100 grams removed from each. Im currently a 32D, but I think Im still swollen so hopefully Ill end up a C cup. Ive just been wearing bralettes, sports bras, and some wireless bras since the surgery. Is this supportive enough to always wear these instead of underwire? Or will it affect the longevity of my lift? Im only 23 and 110 lbs.
I had breast reduction opeartion on 16th May 2018 ( almost 3months). The opeartion itself went really well. I never had any pains. Until few days ago. On my right side, I get a really bad stinging pain. (Feels like one of stitches opened up). Or sometimes sharp pains on both of the breast. The incision lines are red on both side. What can I do to reduce the stinging and pain??. Thanks
It's been draining pretty bad since the first surgery and started to again 2 days after the second surgery. It also has a funky odor. Is this normal and how long should it take for it to stop draining? It only happened on the right side and the left side has been perfect.
