I have a large fibroadenomas in my left breast and a small one in my right breast. I had a procedure once before to even the left breast with the right breast and it did not turn out so good. I already had a procedure schedule before the fibroadenomas grew and are now being recommended to be removed.
Incitions were done about 1 inch under nipples.is this numbness due to anesthesia or damaged nerves?icould be temporary? After surgery they found Flat epiliphial atypica in one of the breast.. is this bad?
Tomorrow jun 3 I request to have a talk with my surgeon about my results from my biopsy,we did talk on the phone but is not enough. Lump is size of a marble
I'm currently 19 years old. At 15 I discovered my first fibroadenoma, I had my first one removed at 16. I forget the actual size but it was somewhere over 4 cm. Senior year of high school I had my second one removed by a different doctor (mistake). I have a large scar around my left nipple and my right nipple no longer becomes erect. I have multiple fibroadenoma's in each breast, and a large & rather painful one in my right breast. I would like to have breast reconstruction/lift/augmentation.
I had my operation on 16th april 2014, it didnt look to bad to start off with but since it is healing i now have a dent at the side of my breast, i have suffered depression before with the size of my breasts but now i cant get undressed infront of my partner of 10years due to having a deformed breast, can my consultant who did the procesure re shape my breast free of charge as i didnt get told that this could happen thankyou
I am a 27 year old female. I had an ultrasound guided biopsy done in 2007 which confirmed I had a 3cm fibroadenoma. Last week, I had an ultrasound and mammogram which showed the fibroadenoma had grown to over 7cm. My surgeon has stated that removal is my option, but cautioned me that 1/4 of my breast would be affected due to the large size of the fibroadenoma, possibly leaving me disfigured. I am wondering whether I should have it removed. If so, could reconstruction of the breast help?
