What options do I have to correct post-op breast-lift asymmetry, outside of a full revision? My left breast (5 months post-op) has settled about a half inch lower than the right and is a half in greater in diameter and circumference. This didnt seem to bother my surgeon, but it disturbs me especially when I wear fitted shirts. Right now, I wear a silicone falsy on only the right side when wearing a tight shirt. Thank you.
It is now nearly 5 months since my implant removal and breast lift. My concern is the fatty, puckered area across my sternum between the lower breasts. I don't understand it. Previously the area was flat and my breasts separate. My surgeon says it that it is quite common if there is a lot of loose skin, and will improve, though I personally doubt this now. What I really want to know is whether anyone who would care to comment, can suggest what could be done to put this right.
Had a breast lift July2017, I absolutely love the job my surgen did but the scars are terrible! I never expected my nipples to change and be left with the scars that they have.. what can I do to help the appearance of the scars or eliminate them. I am thinking of going bigger later on.. I know that you can ask to reshape the nipples.. is this something that I can do? I'm looking for procedure that will help the elimination of the scars or minimize the APPEARANCE !!
I had a breast lift within the last 5 months. My doctor recommended silicone gel strips. They have helped reduce my scarring compared to what they were before, but nothing significant. The scars are causing pain and interfere with my movement. I have been seeing online that patients have treated their scars with injections and laser. However, I read that some injections may actually worsen the condition. I am at a loss for what I should do.
5 months ago I had breast lift on both of my breasts. About 2.5 months ago I noticed that the area around a thin white scar is getting pink, making the scar look bigger and more noticeable. My doctor told me this kind of reaction is not common and he's not sure what causes it. He said it may fade by itself with time (which can take up to 2 years) or he proposed getting Pulsed Dye Laser treatment. Is this a normal reaction? Can it improve by itself with time? How effective is PDL?
I had a breast lift about 5 months ago. I don't think my PS did a great job on my breast lift, but I'm trying to remain positive. The last 2 days my areolas have turned dark & are scaly & are starting to shed what appears to be the dead skin. They did this once before, it scared me, but I didn't panic. Now, I'm starting to worry that maybe I have necrosis. My nipples have sensation, but I don't understand why my areolas are turning black and shedding. Can someone please give me some advice?
I had a breast lift 5 months ago. About 2 months after, I started getting tiny bumps on my breasts. I have never had acne on my breast, just an occasional one on my decollete or upper chest. My dermatologist took a quick, but not a very thorough glance at it and said it was acne. These bumps a lot of times are tiny but firm. They do not seem like normal acne bumps. I wanted to know if this is related to the surgery or could it be some type of infection from the internal sutures?
I had a breast lift in july 2012. My areolas are not only two different sizes, their also two different shapes and still very big. I fill like I was ripped off. It took me three years to save up enough money to get this surgery. Anyways is there another surgery I can get just to fix my aerolas? Would I have two different scars? Are the scars around my aerolas now gonna effect getting some kind of aerola reduction in the future? Should I ask the same surgeon to fix them for free? My insurance?
