I had a breast aug a year ago in March and have another scheduled next month. For some reason my body does not like dissolving stitches and I had a pretty big one fester up and then I realize there is a scab on it so I washed the area with hibiclens and applied germ shield on it. Ive had (4) surgeries in the last two years 3 of them because I got an infection after the original surgery and I am just scared at this point. Also my nipple is not normal I know due to complications.
I am 5 weeks post op breast augmentation I had smooth round silicone implants over the muscle. I noted my i Scion opening up and some watery blood and a small amount of yellow fluid on one side. I am in no pain I have no fever and my breasts arent hot so Im thinking Im just spitting a stitch but wanted to get an expert opinion if I should be worried or not
I had my surgery on June 6th. Everything has been healing well and I feel great, but last night I found all these trouble areas. If they are spitting stitches is this going to keep happening throughout my recovery? My surgeon's office is closed today so I'm hoping I can get in tomorrow. How should I treat this until tomorrow? And should I lay off my silicone sheeting? Thank you so much in advance.
I am 18 days po breast augmentation and I noted a tiny opening at the lateral end of my right incision (inframammary). No drainage, no redness, when I cleanse it-i feel a bit of stitch material just flush with the skin surface. My surgeon is a 5 hour flight away, what should I do with this? I have over the muscle, textured silicone implants.
I am a month and a half post op - BA(saline)/BL(vertical) . I have these two holes from where the suture ?knots? Were exposed, they both came out, remaining two holes where discharge is coming out and a little blood out of the larger hole. Does this look infected? I'm going to call my surgeon to set up an apt, but just wanted to put my worries at ease. Thanks in advance
It started looking like a pimple with pus last night. I applied neosporin and by this morning it had popped. I've been applying neosporin all day today and for some reason I notice the hole a little bigger and seems a little deeper since it popped. I have emailed my PS and still no response I would like to know if my incision is infected? Spitting suture? Body trying to push knot? Is my implant infected? I am so worried! Is there anything I can do from home while I wait for my PS to answer me Please help!
