Wound healing issues occur for a variety of reasons.   Best is to discuss specifically with the operating surgeon so that he /she can take a look.

Without examining you it's difficult to definitively rule anything out but it does not appear as though you have a major infection. The small opening may just be a suture spitting or it may herald a larger underlying issue. The redness of the scar is more consistent with healing and possibly some irritation from the neosporin. Just keep the area clean while you wait for your surgeon and if you have not received an email response by the time the office opens in the morning I would suggest calling rather than emailing again. You are definitely correct in wanting to be examined ASAP. Hope that helps! 

Best to wash it twice a day with Dove soap and water. Apply Bacitracin or Neosporin to the area twice a day. Check with your plastic surgeon. I am confident you will be OK. Good luck....

Your photos are concerning but I dont think your implants are in danger. Please follow up with your surgeon to assure normal post op recovery course.

Thank you for your question and photo.  I am sorry to hear about your slow healing.  From what I can see on your photo, you appear to have some superficial wound breakdown. This can be caused by suture spitting before the suture has dissolved.  It is hard to tell from the photo, but you may be having a reaction to the neosporin- the scar looks red/irritated.  This happens sometimes as with triple antibiotic/neopsporin.  If you were my patient, I would advise you to wash gently and clean with peroxide and apply bacitracin antibiotic ointment twice daily.  I do not think you have an infection.  These small wound problems generally heal without any issue. Your description, photo and the time frame all suggest spitting sutures.  But you will need to be checked by your surgeon to make sure.  You are doing the right thing for now.  Keep the incisions clean and apply an antibiotic ointment like you have started.  This is usually a limited problem and resolves once the suture and knot are removed or "spit" out by the body.  Give your surgeon a call and ask to be checked.  Best wishes.
