My implants are healthy, only very rarely will have intermittent shooting pain. I am looking to get them out without the invasiveness of a capsulectomy. How can I make sure the capsules stick together properly and the muscle is repaired properly? A doctor mentioned scoring, will that lead to uneven adhesions?
2 years after explant/lift with pec muscle repair. Chest pain that radiates to between the shoulder blades. Cleared by cardiologist. Anytime I do anything that uses my pec muscle I am in terrible pain with heart palpitations. Any advice ? My surgeon retired :(!
seeking removal of of under muscle saline implants. x 16 years. i feel stupid for not having realized that my muscle had been cut/released from my ribs during the implant initial operation. it sounds so obvious now. i'm told it needs to be reattached anda big reason for the high total cost. what do you understand about muscle repair? is it needed? how does reattachment promote health and function over the long term? A)explant only under local v B) explant +muscle repair under general. why
I am having muscle repair after breast implant removal. I will, of course, follow my surgeons directions post-op. However Id like to get thoughts on this, as Im starting to plan my aftercare and the level of support I will need. I know muscle repairs can take 6-8 weeks to heal. I am trying to avoid putting too much strain on the sutured muscle too soon. Do you think planning 4 weeks (1 month) without movements will support my pectoralis muscle in optimal healing? Longer? Thanks!
I had my submuscular implants removed 7 years ago. I recently began a regular weight class about 10 months ago. Im experiencing pain in my pec muscle under my breast fold and terrible back pain. After getting in touch with explant surgeon, I discovered she did NOT repair my muscles after explant. I am concerned this is why i have so much back pain. Can these muscles be repaired at this stage, 7 years later? If so, would a plastic surgeon be who I contact or would an oethopedic suegeon do this?
I am seeking information about breast implant removal with implants under the muscle. I am concerned about my muscle not being the same. This question assumes the capsule will be removed. Some doctors are saying the muscle will heal itself back down to the chest wall. Others say you must suture it down. Then others say muscle is too fleshy to suture and could tear and bleed if flexed during healing. Please give me insight into muscle healing and what to expect during healing as well as how long.
Im asking this again because no one answered my question with the detail I needed. I will ask in a different way. Why do docs feel the pec muscle does not need repaired during explant? What if it moves and strength is compromised? I have seen women report this. So being told the pec muscle heals itself doesnt seem good enough to me. Im not understanding how it will re-attachment to the connection points from which it was released.
I got my implants under muscules removed 8 months ago and my chest muscles now roll up very high above my breasts. My chest muscle is shrunk very small and I have a slump under my armpit. I am definitely wanting to get implants in the future under muscule again, but want to know if I need to repair muscles first or if it can be pulled down and stay over a small implant again??
I haven't had my implants for very long .. 275 moderate UTM with unilateral lift. I've had pretty bad anxiety and just want them out :( will I require muscle repair? Does capsule need to be removed? I have tough scar tissue under my vertical scar - will this cause adhesions? Thank you for your guidance
Breast implant removal with muscle repair but without taking out the capsules, I have a 3 years old implants under the muscles and my surgeon said my capsules are very thin and I would do more damage trying to get it out than leaving it alone since its thin. How true is this?
