I am 45 being diagnosed with MS. I have lesions in brain and swine and symptoms including numb hand, stiff legs and urgency incontinence. With hindsight I believe my symptoms started prior to BA. I am however concerned that having implants may exacerbate my autoimmune response. My surgeon removed a lot of my natural tissue so I anticipate an especially deflated/concave outcome if I do explant, but if removing them could help I will. Scared and grateful for any advice.
I am planning to have explant surgery, is it possible to get a lift with fat transfer? I only have breasts implants (360cc, textured, silicone) for less that 2 years but he implants triggered my autoimmune disease. I have moderate breasts ptosis prior to the breast augmentation. Thank you for your time.
I have developed an autoimmune disease and Im desperate to get well. I know there is no guarantee with explantation. My question is, is it safe to take out my saline breast implants if I have interstitial lung disease; my concern being that they would have to remove the entire capsule and get close to the mas theyre under the muscle? I dont want to have the surgery. I would prefer to just change out my implants. I also have a complicated cyst on the outer edge of left breast ( benign).
Hey , I've had my breast implantat for 1,5 year an got diagnosed for having the autoimmune disease Hashimoto's recently. Did my breast implants cause this? Shoul I take the implant out, because I'm scared of becoming sick from other diseases. The symptoms are getting worse, and I haven't gotten on any medication yet. Is it true that the breast implants can hide cancer if I keep them? What I the safest thing to do? I care more for my health than looks!
I am wanting to get my breast implants removed? What is the best procedure for removal if autoimmune issues are a concern? Will the natural breast tissue be reduced from the previous compression of the implant or from breastfeeding?
I have 25 year old implants. Not sure if our material is textured or not, incision sight is thru the nipple. My problem is I am on a walker and have HAD breast cancer which came with neuro & autoimmune issues. In the process of getting a doc lined up to remove the implants. I feel the implants have played a part in some of my neuro & autoimmune disorders. How long is the recovery for a normal person? Since I use my upper body function any idea the down time. I live alone so Ill need help.
These were placed above the muscle. Original implants were below the muscle and encapsulated within the first month. Original surgeon replaced with Replicon (furry implant) within the first month. I have had them 25-30 years. I would just like them to be removed for good. I am having many autoimmune issues and wonder if they could be related?
When I was 28, I got saline breast implants. I'm now 42 & was recently diagnosed with scleroderma, lupus, & rheumatoid arthritis. I read that autoimmune disorders like mine could possibly be due to breast implants & that if they are 10-15 yrs old, they should be removed. I've never had a single problem in 14 yrs, & my mammograms are always negative. With my recent diagnosis of auto immune disorders, should I remove, replace, or leave them alone? I have no pain, no leaks, no ruptures.
I have 13 year old saline implants under the muscle, 400 cc, 60 year old. I am having a lot of auto-immune symptoms, neck and shoulder pain, leg cramps and left side hip pain.
