Two weeks post op, recovery going better than I ever expected, healing nicely but both incision scars under my breast are not smooth...just a bit fleshy/puffy the whole length of scar. What possibly caused this result? Thank you, for taking my question.
This recovery has been hard on my body. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and chronic neck pain. That being said, out of the blue I get what feels like a stabbing sensation in my chest/sternum/ribs and it happens once or twice in different areas then just goes away. They are quick. Is this just part of the healing process?
I received 350 mod plus breast implants that were much too large for my frame. I removed them after having them for 3.5 months. They had bottomed out slightly as well. I am 24. No kids. I am currently almost 2 weeks post op. Prior to surgery my doctor was very optimistic that my breasts would look very similar to what I had before but they seem very misshapen and quite saggy. I am hoping that as the skin contracts they will lift back up to their normal position? Is this possible?
34y/o with 15 y/o 375cc silicone gel mentor implants- after 2 kids i had them Exchanged on 4/1/19 w/ Natrelle 560cc silicone implants. By 4/13/19 I was in the hospital w/ Fever and chills, intense rt breast pain. put on broad spectrum antibiotics, blood cultures showed nada. by 4/16 my plastic surgeon and I decided to take out implants.seroma tested + for staph aureus. Now Rt. breast is smaller & hard in armpit/ side boob & also on chest-like rock candy. Will this go away? Why did this happen
There looks to be a faint smell of milk from the nipples and a very slight white flaky residue, nothing major at all, Im just courious, the milk ducts look big but the nipples look in good colour and over all everything feels good. They are a little inverted at the moment. Time to see the doctor, or let things settle down?
I am not able to take pain medication so I am trying to get through this with Tylenol and ice. Anyone else experience this? I have burning and soreness in the breast. I had drains for 1 week. Surgeon said he had to dissect some of the capsule from chest wall. Could this be why I am still hurting?
I had a revision 4/2017 to replace a ruptured implant, developed severe intercostal nerve pain. I explanted 2wks ago with total capsulectomy. Breasts healing fine. Nerve has swollen severely along my side since explant, bruised, extremely painful. Please don't say to see my surgeon. I have. He bemoaned my post-explant appearance and held his hands up dismissively when I asked about it. I get it, not his dept. How long would you recommend a pt wait before seeing a pain specialist or neurologist?
had a breast implant removal and lift 2 weeks ago. Looks great, but I have drainage every day. I asked my doc if he removed capsules since I had my implants for 15 years, he sad its not necessary, they will be absorbed by my body. Is it true?
Hi! This is more an opinion question so I don't want to be told to ask my PS (I already have). I'm two weeks post op for explant/lift. Have the anchor, sutures are dissolvable and glued. Not being treated now at all. Just looking for opinions on when to start therapy and favorite therapies. Thanks so much for your opinions and advice!
