Hi I have silicone 385 cohesion style implants I had a massage the other day and she stepped on my back as a massage too, I felt fine during this didnt hear a pop or anything , but now three days later I feel a little sore on my right breast occasional shooting pain? Could I have ruptured it while I was getting a massage? I thought it takes a lot to rupture an implant? I workout a lot as well, is this possible?
Hi guys:) so I had a breast augmentation 5 days ago and I notice that on my breast that isnt dropping as fast (normal, Im aware), I can feel the edge of the implant. When poked it feels like Im poking a piece of plastic and a shooting pain comes slightly. Is this normal? Will it go away? My surgeon is 5 hrs away so I am hesitant about going to get checked if it is normal. I have saline 390cc under muscle/under breast fold incision. Can only be felt on one side.
i shared with my surgeon my experience with shooting pain, which happens occasionally about once a day and it lasts for few seconds but very painful and self limiting. my surgeon suggested i go to office to get a xylocaine injection to help with the pain. i consulted a second ps for a 2nd opinion, he suggested waiting on the injection, and he suggested an anti-inflammatory motrin and robaxin- muscle relaxer and to wait a little. i'm lost and depressed and not sure what to do. please advice.
It's been 13 months since I had my BA, 325 and 345cc under the muscle. Incision underneath. Since day one, I've had a soft tingling on the lower part of one breast (345cc) after exercise. Is this normal, even with a supportive bra? I also have an occasional shooting pain in one spot on the lower side of the right breast. This pain has come and gone since day 1. Any idea of what that could be? It can be sensitive to the touch, which might be because I've searched for lumps. I can't find any.
1. I got the breast aug done a year ago. I would really like to get full body massage but haven't had the courage to do so. Is it safe to lie on my stomach without damaging anything? 2. Same concern for getting my annual mammogram. Can implants (300cc in my case) withstand the squeeze of the procedure? 3. I am fully healed and at times even forget I have implants but even a little shooting or throbbing pain in one of my breasts makes me nervous at times. Am I being paranoid? Thanks in advance.
After my surgery (1/25) had a very sharp pain in my left under arm where your armpit meets your chest after I raised my arm too high. It was an intense shooting sharp pain. Today that same pain in my under arm is back and consistent. Very sharp shooting pain. Its so bad I can barely use my left arm. I see my surgeon on 2/6 for my first post op visit. My main question is what is the root cause of this pain and how can I avoid worsening it and what can I do to help alleviate the pain?
I'm close to hitting my 4 month post op mark on my breast augmentation. I'm 19 (almost 20) years old & have no children. I had 700cc under the muscle & the incision was inframammary. I went from a 34AA to a 38D. Recently I've started experiancing occasional sharp, shooting pains in my right nipple, but never the left. Could something be wrong?
For the past week, the right breast has been hurting when I lay on my stomach or when I touch it beneath the areola. When doing breast exams, the right breast/implant feels a lot firmer and is a bit uncomfortable when I'm examining myself. I had a mammogram in April and everything was normal. Sometimes, I'll get a shooting pain out of nowhere during the day. What can be wrong?
